Help us help you.... After 28 years, the Appleby Fire Department will finally be building a much needed and long awaited new fire station. However, to make this dream to become a reality we need your help. Currently on the Appleby Water Supply bills there is a voluntary $1 donation to Appleby Fire Dept. automatically added. In the near future this $1 donation will automatically be changed to $4. This extra donation will be a huge help in our building project and in our mission of providing fire, EMS and rescue services to the residents of Appleby and the outlying communities. As always, this donation is optional, however if you would like to donate more money each month on your water bill please contact Appleby Water Supply at (936)569-9782. If you have any questions or concerns about this issue please contact Assistant Chief Dave Crawford at (936)465-5812.

Welcome to the website of the City of Appleby Fire Department, located in Appleby, Texas. We are a public department and currently have a 100% volunteer member base, however, we will possibly be adding paid positions in the future. We are supported by the generous donations of the residents of the surrounding area that we serve and protect, as well as by funding provided by the City of Appleby. We are also members of a newly formed Emergency Service District which will provide our department with much needed tax dollars to help support and fund our ever growing expenses and needs. Appleby Fire Department proudly protects almost 5,000 people living in an area of over 50 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. The Appleby Fire Station is located in the Appleby Community Center in Appleby, Texas. The Dept was formed in April of 1975 and has been one of the most progressive rural fire departments in Nacogdoches County. We were the first dept. to initiate the medical first responder program in the county. We have over 30 members, 15 which are EMS certified. We also have (5) Level II Instructors and (4) Level I Instructors. We would like to welcome you again to our website and invite you to take a look at our Photo Gallery. |
